No Better Place
Victoria...there’s no place better to be than right here, right now!
The City of Victoria is strategically located at the center of the South Texas Crossroads. Aptly named for its outstanding location on the convergence of several major highways, including the future Interstate 69 (I-69), this well-planned historic city is primed for business. Victoria is the retail, medical, and higher education hub of the region which encompasses over 250,000 people.
Retail Trade Area
Victoria’s primary retail trade area encompasses over 30 communities in the region, reaching a population of over 133,000 people. These communities provide the region a wide variety of industries, as well as opportunities for retailers to provide services and goods.
Shopping Locally Matters!
When you shop and dine in Victoria, two cents of every dollar you spend stays in Victoria. This helps fund our parks, roads, and other city services.
Plus, it helps bring better quality, higher paying jobs to the City, so make sure you "Got it in Victoria!"
Chapter 312 as Amended by House Bill 3143
HB 3143 requires governmental entities (including municipalities) to publish the current adopted Tax Abatement guidelines and criteria for the City of Victoria, Texas and Victoria County.
