Families with young kids looking to beat the heat are invited to enjoy the new extended hours at the City of Victoria Parks & Recreation splash pads.

Starting Saturday, April 24, the splash pads will be open seven days a week, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. This schedule will remain until the end of October.

Parks & Recreation operates three splash pads:

  • Community Park Splash Pad, 211 N. Ben Wilson St. (closed for repairs)
  • Ethel Lee Tracy Splash Pad, 1507 Placido Benavides Drive
  • Lone Tree Creek Splash Pad, 4009 E. Airline Road.

The splash pads will be sanitized every morning, and ultraviolet lights will be used to keep the water clean throughout the day.

To reserve a splash pad, visit www.victoriatx.gov/registration or contact Parks & Recreation at 361-485-3200.
