Mayor McCoy, Councilman Loffgren complete 1st year with City; Councilman Young marks reelection

Mayor Rawley McCoy, Councilman Mark Loffgren and Councilman Dr. Andrew Young

Mayor Rawley McCoy, Councilman Mark Loffgren and Councilman Dr. Andrew Young were recognized during Tuesday’s City Council meeting for completing the first year of their current terms of service.

This week marks one year since McCoy was elected mayor of the City of Victoria and Loffgren was elected to represent Super District 6. Also one year ago, Young was reelected for a third term to represent Super District 5. Young was first elected June 15, 2013.

McCoy, Loffgren and Young won their respective elections May 4, 2019, and were sworn in May 7, 2019.
