The City of Victoria Development Services will host two virtual open houses so that residents can provide input on the forthcoming thoroughfare master plan.

The open houses will be hosted March 4, one at 12 p.m. and one at 5 p.m. Residents will be able to learn more about the thoroughfare master plan and Victoria’s current and future transportation needs, and they will also have an opportunity to provide input, ask questions and learn more about how they can get involved.

Maggie_Bergeron“Because Victoria’s transportation network serves the entire community, it’s important for the community to have input in the decision-making process,” said planning administrator Maggie Bergeron. “The feedback provided at our open houses and through our survey will guide us as we seek to build a safer and more efficient system for drivers, cyclists, pedestrians and passengers on public transportation.”

Both events will be hosted through the Zoom videoconferencing platform. The 5 p.m. open house will also be streamed on Facebook Live at City of Victoria, Texas – Government. To join via Zoom, visit www.victoriatmp.com

Requests for accommodations or interpretative services must be made 48 hours prior to this meeting. Please contact the City’ Secretary’s Office at 361-485-3040 for further information.

Recordings of the open houses will be posted online at www.victoriatmp.com.

Residents may also provide input on the master plan through March 11 by visiting www.victoriatmp.com or calling 361-200-1995.
